Last Christmas, my parents gave us a certificate for "a long weekend" somewhere as long as we planned it. So in September we headed up to Seattle. We caught a Red Sox game, took a couple ferries through the San Juan Islands, and end up in British Columbia. The North West is super pretty. We had a great time sight seeing, relaxing and Karsyn experienced her first international vacation :)
Dinner on Lake Union our first night in Seattle
The next morning we headed to Pikes Place Market. The best peaches and mangoes I've ever tasted.
Pikes Place
On top of the Smith Tower in Downtown Seattle. Similar view as the Space Needle. Less pricey.
It rained on and off while we were there so Karsyn spent plenty of time in her car seat. She was a good sport though.
1st Sox game. She didn't see much of the game. Most of it was spent walking around or in the Mother's Lounge :)
Sox vs. Mariners. Sox won of course.
Deception Pass
Deception Pass
Victoria Island, BC
Butchart Gardens in Victoria. This place was incredible.
She has an obsession with leaves therefore she loved the gardens.
